Preparing for Open Studios

Four of us were at the Art Factory Studios in Hall Road, Norwich, this sunny Friday morning - 27 April - preparing for the Open Studios event next month. Annette and Lisa were working on various techniques of introducing words into art prints, and Rupert was taking a close look at the three versions of the Poetry Vending Machine. One of these will only take half crowns and florins, and we're a few coins short!

Meanwhile Tim was taking an even closer look at the floor, which was just about sufficiently distorted to provide material for a poem.

One of the PVMs will be at the Open Studios "taster" in St Giles Church, Norwich, scheduled to open on May 4. InPrint will also be at the one-day Assembly House taster, on May 16. But the big date is Sunday, May 20, when crowds are expected to visit the various studios in the Art Factory for the private view.
